The Star Dome

Nestled in a private wooded glade watch the dawn spill sunshine over the patchwork of fields spread out in the valley below and then at dusk, as the warm glow of the log fire breaks through the night, gaze at the ever changing panorama of the sky through our star gazing window.

Our Star Dome offers the simple joys of the great outdoors; designed for nature cravers, adventure chasers, peace and quiet seekers, star gazers and memory makers.  It offers an enriched way to explore nature close up with amenities you would expect to find in a deluxe hotel: well-appointed beyond your expectations.

When you gather around the camp fire, there is a special sense of companionship and an atmosphere of relaxation - every moment is transformed into a magical experience. The Star dome features a gas firepit with warming flames creating a cosy atmosphere without irritating sparks or smoke. Easy to use...a push of a button is all it takes to create a warming fire and a stylish ambiance. Please note that gas for the firepit is an extra charge of £25 per bottle and must be pre-ordered. 

The Star Dome now offers the unique experience of cooking in the great outdoors with a brand new pizza oven - a treat for all the family! The oven is an extra charge and can be added at the time of booking (£15 bundle includes 4 x dough balls and use of the pizza oven). 

This luxurious glamping accommodation features a king size bed with plush pillows and a luxuriously cosy duvet. For guests booking for more than 2 people the additional 2 beds are of the fold out type. There is full sized dining table and chairs, outside furniture, a luxurious Scandinavian wood fired hot tub (£65.00 extra charge), BBQ, and a private bathroom with a  shower, a flushing toilet and convenient kitchenette.  The cooking facilities comprise of a microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge freezer and the bbq.  We will supply coffee pods or ground coffee (subject to availability) tea, speciality tea and sugar. NB:  WE DO NOT SUPPLY MILK.  You will also find towels, robes and an initial supply of toilet rolls and in the kitchen; washing up liquid, tea towels and a cleaning sponge. 

All well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25.00 per dog. Dogs are not permitted on furniture. All guests bringing dogs are required to sign our dog policy before checking in.

THINGS TO NOTE

Please note that we are an eco friendly site and do not believe in unnecessary light pollution. In Winter months we advise arriving before it get's dark but if this is not possible then please ensure you bring a torch with you. Please be aware that we do not accept hen do's or stag do's. This property is not suitable for young children in Winter periods. We will only accept guests with children in Winter by prior arrangement only. All babies must be declared before booking to ascertain suitability, but generally we do not believe the property is suitable. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. Please remember that this is a glamping experience (glamourous camping) when choosing which month you would like to stay with us - some are colder than others!
