Memorable family adventure

What a lovely place to spend our first glamping experience. Fern and her family are wonderful hosts and were very warm and welcoming. The inside of the tent is very well thought out and has everything you need for a 3 night stay. The kids absolutely loved the woods and the surrounding fields. We had complete run of the countryside and the owners even let the children play on their trampoline near the family home which was very kind of them. Loved the shower! Was a first time 'glamping' experience for us and it did not disappoint. Thank you Fern for a wonderful stay, we will be looking to book again for next summer and perhaps the Star Dome will be the next stay - looks incredible!

Best 'whim' booking I've made in a long time!!!!

Saw this ad on facebook and requested to book on a whim. It was quite far away from us but when we saw the photos and the reviews for it we thought it was worth a try and we seriously needed a break. We really enjoyed the experience of being in the woodland with nothing around us. Having a private shower and toilet was a surprise to us as we thought it would have been shared(my fault for not reading the website correctly) so we loved having a shower inside...but outside at the same time. We were lucky with amasing weather so enjoyed our time catching up on the deck with a BBQ and a glass of prosecco. Was just a lovely relaxing stay and fern was such a nice girl. Thank you, we will be coming back and recommending to family and friends.

Lovely stay in the countryside

I decided to stay here while my wife was visiting friends in the local area. While she had her 'girl time' I was alone having my own man time and it gave me a chance to relax and switch off. Charming location, charming hosts and lovely tent. The log burner was a great treat and kept me warm on the colder evenings. Everything is provided for a few nights stay so couldn't have asked for more. Next time I would like to bring my wife for a romantic break, will be in touch. Thanks again

No electricity....GREAT!

We brought the kids to experience glamping for the first time and our eldest (and perhaps the grumpiest teenager in the world) didn't like the idea with the thought of no electricity. However we saw his mood change within hours of arriving to this idyllic place. He spent the weekend playing with his younger brother and making dens in the woods. It was very moving for us as parents to see. He barely used his phone at all while he was here and we will take home some fantastic memories. The tent is gorgeous and the woodland around the tent is set in the most stunning location. BBQ was a little temperamental with the igniter but you can use the gas lighter with no problems.Fluffy robes and good quality towels are provided. Just one tip though if you have children bring a spare towel as they provide 2 bath robes and 2 towels. Loved having this family time away and cannot wait to return to make more memories before the kids are too old to want to come on holiday with mum and dad! Thank you fern and family, its been very spexial x

Already booked to come back...this time without the kids

Such an amasing half term break. Was certainly something different for us to do. THANK YOU! Loved having a hot shower while looking at the trees and the stars at night. Kids loved the fire pit and playing in the woods and playing with the dog in the fields. So much to do for children in the area and the safari park is only 30 mins away which was the family favourite. The inside is the best ive ever seen a tent, expensive furnishings and luxury bedding. Have already booked to return with just the wife in the summer. Perfect place to relax for 2 very tired parents. Thanks fern!

Romantic hideaway

We booked Bluebell View as a romantic getaway for our first wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint in anyway. It's secluded, set aside a steep switch backed driveway, overlooking magnificent views beyond elegant trees in a decidious woodland. The tent is spacious, cosy and beautifully furnished. A log burner kept us cosy, as did the snugly duvet atop a very comfortable bed. There are plenty of blankets for cooler nights. Cute showeroom and flushing loo to the rear with plenty of lovely towels. Kitchen sink, drainer, kettle, camping stove and cool box. Having no electricity was no problem- we read, chatted and cooked on the gas barby. Would we return? In a heartbeat!! It has been a delightful break. Ludlow is not too far away with its fantastic little shops, market, wonderful cafes and restaurants. Driving in the area offers spectacular views from Clee Hill. A few pointers for guests- the pathway down to the tent is quite steep so I would say it's not ideal for anyone who is not good on their feet, make sure you take any food and drinks you might need. We took food but didn't think about teas and coffees so had to go out again for tea, milk and sugar, washing up liquid and salt and pepper. These might be something that could be added by the proprietors perhaps? Everything else that we needed was there. It is extremely dark at night so be sure to take a good torch, particularly if you're coming in after an evening out as you will park at the top by the steep pathway entrance. A little trolley is available to bring down your baggage-a godsend. So absolutely wonderful. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have. If Bluebell View is not for you, then the other properties at Woodland Escapes are sure to suit.

Fantastic stay, thank you

We loved our stay in the bell tent. We have never been glamping before so this was our first time and we were not disappointed. We arrived to a log warm fire already lit for us by the owner which was such a great touch considering the weather outside and everything was clean and tidy. Decor is stunning and we loved toasting our marshmallows on the outside fire pit. Fern and family are fantastic hosts and are there whenever you need them. Thanks guys, will be coming back.

THE BEST EVER

Thank you Woodland Escapes for this experience, we will never forget it. We have been glamping before but this tent is the best one we have ever stayed in. Glamourous to the MAX. Beautiful inside and so peaceful outside. Loved having a hot shower in amongst the trees and snuggling up under the duvet with the log burner. We stayed up for hours by the fire pit and it was the perfect place....for me to get ENGAGED! Couldn't have asked for a more romantic and perfect setting. Thanks a lot, will never forget this place.
